I'm back...and I'm married!!!

I can't believe how long it's been since my last post, but I've been busy. I got married the evening of Nov. 17th at the Hampshire House in Boston and I couldn't be happier. Everything went well. You can see Dick and I walking down the aisle above - I know it's blurry, but that's how the pic came out which worked out well, since I don't post pics of me on the blog...lest you be scared off! :)
It was a small wedding - 42 guests. We had a string quartet for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. And the ceremony took place in front of a fireplace. We had a runner and flowers on the aisle chairs. It looked lovely.
Then we had a cocktail hour with passed h'doevres (I just butchered the spelling) and a raw bar - lobster tails, jumbo shrimp and oysters - yum! And the dinner was very good, too. Our cake was an organce grand marnier with a strawberry mousse - excellent! I'm glad I saved the top of the cake since Dick and I ate it all last week! :) And we had a wonderful jazz band and singer. We had a great time - especially since all our family was there :) And because of the size of the wedding, we were able to spend some time with everyone.
I may post more pics in the next few days - pics of the raw bar, bouquet, cake, etc.
